Vitaherb Andrographis Extract 100mg Capsule is traditionally used for relief of cold, cough, fever and sore throat. 

Andrographis (Andrographis paniculata), also known as ‘King of Bitters’, ‘hempedu bumi’ or ‘chuan xin lian’, is a tropical and sub-tropical herb widely found in South and Southeast Asia. It is traditionally used for treating a variety of ailments. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Ayurvedic medicine, Andrographis was popularly used as an immune health herb and has been known for its demonstrated use in fighting against cold, flu and upper respiratory tract infections.

Andrographis is beginning to gain popularity in the West for its ability to support the immune system and as an anti-cold and flu remedy. It has been shown to hasten recovery from the common cold and increase the immune system’s resistance to prevent cold episode onset.
