Rowachol Capsule For Hepato Biliary Disorders Including Cholelitiasis 100'S

Cap (green, spherical, soft gelatin, containing greenish-yellow oil with strong aromatic odour) 10 x 10's.

Indications / Uses

Rowachol is intended for use in the breaking up (dissolving or disintegrating) or passage (expulsion) of gallstones.

Description

The active substances in one gastro-resistant capsule, soft are: α−Pinene 13.6 mg, β−Pinene 3.4 mg, Menthol 32.0 mg, Menthone 6.0 mg, Borneol 5.0 mg, Camphene 5.0 mg, Cineole 2.0 mg.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: The other ingredient is Virgin Olive Oil.
The Capsule Shell contains: Gelatine, glycerol 85%, sodium ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E215), sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E217), sodium copper chlorophyllin (100% water soluble).

Dosage / Direction for Use

Always take Rowachol exactly as the physician has told the patient. The patient should check with the physician or pharmacist if you are not sure. Rowachol must only be taken by swallowing the whole capsule. Do not bite or chew the capsules.


Usual Dosage for Adults: Take 1 to 2 capsules three times daily before meals.
Usual Dosage for Children Aged 6 to 14 Years: Take 1 capsule twice daily before meals.
If the patient have taken more capsules than the patient should, talk to the physician or pharmacist.

If the patient forget to take Rowachol, do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. Just take it as soon as the patient remembers. Then go on taking your next dose at the usual time.
If the patient have any further questions on the use of this product, ask the physician or pharmacist.

Contraindications

Do not take Rowachol if the patient is allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the active substances or any of the other ingredients of Rowachol.

Special Precautions

Tell the physician if the patient is taking medicines to thin the blood or medicines that are broken down by the liver.

The following other ingredients of the capsules shell may cause allergic reactions: Sodium Ethyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E215), Sodium Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E217) (possibly delayed).


Driving and Using Machines: Rowachol is unlikely to have any effect on your driving or ability to use machines.

Use In Pregnancy & Lactation

Ask the physician or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. The patient should only take Rowachol on the advice of the physician if the patient is pregnant or breast-feeding. Not to be taken during the first trimester.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Rowachol can cause side effects although not everybody gets them.
If the patient notice any side effects please tell the physician or pharmacist.

Interactions

Tell the physician or pharmacist if the patient is taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription. These medicines include: Medicines to thin your blood (oral anti-coagulants e.g. Warfarin); medicines that are broken down in the liver (ask your doctor for advice on this)
